    • 아가페침례교회 연혁 HISTORY OF AGAPE BAPTIST CHURCH
      1995. 4.
      김진환 목사님이 윤영순 성도님 가정에서 아가페침례교회 개척.
      1995. 10.
      Middletown Bethany 교회로 이전하여 예배 드림.
      1997. 10.
      Vandalia First Baptist 교회로 이전하여 예배 드림.
      2000. 9.
      Riverside 에 있는 건물을 구입, 자체성전에서 예배 드림.
      2005. 2.
      강효열 목사님이 사역을 시작.
      2017. 7.
      오완기 목사님이 사역을 시작.
      2025. 9.
      사랑의교회와 통합 결정, 남궁곤 목사님을 담임목사로 결정.

      1983. 2.
      Airway Baptist Church 교회에서 데이튼한인침례교회를 창립.
      1983. 8.
      이상구 목사님이 사역을 시작.
      1987. 6.
      박대순 목사님이 사역을 시작.
      1988. 8.
      Huber Heights First Baptist 교회로 이전하여 예배 드림.
      1989. 12.
      김성수 목사님이 사역을 시작.
      1990. 8.
      East Dayton Baptist 교회로 이전, 교회 이름을 데이튼 그레이스 한인침례교회로 개칭.
      1992. 10.
      Wilmington Pike 건물을 구입, 자체성전에서 예배 드림.
      1994. 11.
      이동성 목사님이 사역을 시작.
      1998. 10.
      최광평 목사님이 사역을 시작.
      2010. 8.
      손효근 목사님이 사역을 시작.
      2020. 7.
      Kettering, Bigger Rd 로 이전하여 예배를 드림.
      2025. 1.
      남궁곤 목사님이 사역을 시작.
      2025. 9.
      아가페교회와 통합을 결정, 남궁곤 목사님을 담임목사로 결정.

      데이튼사랑의교회와 아가페교회의 통합이 논의되기 시작.

      교회 통합을 위한 20일 특별기도 진행.
      2025. 9. 7.
      양쪽 교회의 신도총회에서 각각 만장일치로 교회 통합을 결정.
      2025. 9. 16.
      통합한 교회가 처음으로 야외예배로 통합 예배를 드림.
      2025. 10. 5.
      통합한 교회는 "데이튼 라이프침례교회"로 이름을 확정.

      사랑의교회와 아가페교회의 클로징 감사예배를 드림.

      데이튼 라이프침례교회의 설립예배를 드림.

      1995. 4.
      In April 1995, Rev. Jin Hwan Kim founded Agape Baptist Church at the home of Ms. Young Soon Yoon.
      1995. 10.
      In October 1995, the church moved to Middletown Bethany Church and began worshiping there.
      1997. 10.
      In October 1997, the church relocated to Vandalia First Baptist Church.
      2000. 9.
      In September 2000, the church purchased a building in Riverside and began worshiping in its own facility.
      2005. 2.
      In February 2005, Rev. Hyoyul Kang began his ministry.
      2017. 7.
      In July 2017, Rev. Wanki Oh began his ministry.
      2025. 9.
      In September 2025, the church decided to merge with Dayton Korean Baptist Church and appointed Rev. Nathan Namkung as the senior pastor.

      In February 1983, Dayton Korean Baptist Church was founded at Airway Baptist Church.
      1983. 8.
      In August 1983, Rev. Sang Koo Lee began his ministry.
      1987. 6.
      In June 1987, Rev. Dae Soon Park began his ministry.
      1988. 8.
      In August 1988, relocated to Huber Heights First Baptist Church.
      1989. 12.
      In December 1989, Rev. Sung Soo Kim began his ministry.
      1990. 8.
      In August 1990, the church moved to East Dayton Baptist Church and changed its Korean name to Dayton Grace Korean Baptist Church.
      1992. 10.
      In October 1992, the church purchased a building on Wilmington Pike and began worshiping in its own facility.
      1994. 11.
      In November 1994, Rev. Dong Sung Lee began his ministry.
      1998. 10.
      In October 1998, Rev. Kwang Pyung Choi began his ministry.
      2010. 8.
      In August 2010, Rev. Hyokun Son began his ministry.
      2020. 7.
      In July 2020, the church relocated to Bigger Rd, Kettering.
      2025. 1.
      In January 2025, Rev. Nathan Namkung began his ministry.
      2025. 9.
      In September 2025, the church decided to merge with Agape Baptist Church and appointed Rev. Nathan Namkung as the senior pastor.

      On August 3, 2025, discussions for the merger between the two churches began.

      From August 18 to September 6, 2025, both churches held 20 days of special prayer for the merger process.

      On September 7, 2025, both churches held separate business meetings and unanimously approved the merger.

      On September 16, 2025, the newly merged congregation held its first joint outdoor worship service.
      2025. 10. 5.
      On October 5, 2025, the merged church officially adopted the name "LIFE Baptist Church of Dayton."
      2025. 10. 19.
      On October 19, 2025, both churches held a Closing Thanksgiving Service for Agape Baptist Church and Dayton Korean Baptist Church.
      2025. 11. 2.
      On November 2, 2025, we are holding the Inaugural Worship Service of LIFE Baptist Church of Dayton.
